The Russian FM Sergey Lavrov experienced a severe cyberattack during the BRICS summit, as confirmed by spokeswoman Maria Zakharova. The attack, described as a large-scale distributed denial-of-service assault, targeted the ministry’s official website. Zakharova stated that while such attacks are common, this one was unprecedented in scale. The summit is held in Kazan from October 22-24.
