In Aligarh, a retired Army personnel, Kishanpal, shot his 72-year-old father, Bani Singh, with a licensed gun following a heated argument. The altercation escalated after Kishanpal intervened in a dispute between Bani and his wife. Bani succumbed to injuries en route to the hospital. Police have registered a case and are searching for Kishanpal, who fled the scene after the incident.
