RBI Boosts UPI Transaction Limits To Enhance Digital Payment Accessibility

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has increased transaction limits for UPI Lite and UPI 123PAY to enhance digital payment accessibility. The UPI Lite limit has risen from Rs 500 to Rs 1,000, with wallet capacity increasing from Rs 2,000 to Rs 5,000. Meanwhile, UPI 123PAY’s limit has doubled from Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000, making digital transactions more convenient for users across India.
