Ahead of Diwali, Rajasthan issued guidelines allowing only green crackers with restricted timings for Diwali, Christmas, and New Year. Fireworks are allowed from 8-10 pm in NCR districts, and a 2hr limit applies on other occasions. Restrictions include no-cracker zones near hospitals, schools, and religious sites. Schools are urged to promote awareness on fireworks’ environmental and safety impacts.
