Railway Track Collapse In AP’s Guntur Due To Heavy Rains

The railway track has collapsed at Machavaram in the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh due to heavy rains. Railway officials have preliminarily confirmed that the collapse was caused by the adverse weather conditions. This has resulted in significant disruptions to train services on the Vijayawada-Chennai route, including the suspension of the Tirupati-Secunderabad Vande Bharat train.
