Punjab Farmers To Block Highways In Protest Against FIRs For Stubble Burning

Punjab farmers plan to protest on Saturday over several issues, including FIRs for stubble burning, delays in paddy procurement, and a 30% reduction in DAP fertilizer stocks. Sarwan Singh Pandher, leader of the Punjab Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Samiti, announced that highways in Batala, Sangrur, Phagwara, and Megha will be blocked, though emergency services will continue to operate.
