Preparations Underway For Navratri Festival At Goddess Kanakadurga Temple

Ahead of the Sharannavaratri rituals for the Dussehra festival, preparations are underway at the Goddess Kanakadurga temple on Indrakiladri Hill in Vijayawada. Temple priests announced that the Navratri will commence on Oct 3 with the laying of the foundation stone and will conclude on Oct 12. The auspicious ‘Tepostavam’ is set to take place in the Krishna River on the evening of Oct 12.
