Election Commission of India has postponed the polling date for by-elections in 14 Assembly constituencies across Kerala, Punjab & Uttar Pradesh from Nov 13 to Nov 20, following requests from various political parties. Concerns were raised that festivals like Kalpathi Rastholsavam, Kartik Purnima, and Prakash Parv could negatively affect voter turnout. Votes will be counted on Nov 23.
