Poll Panel Allowed To Use EVMs From Maval Lok Sabha Controversy

The Bombay High Court has allowed the Election Commission to reuse 7,710 Ballot Units and 2,570 Control Units tied to an Election Petition challenging the Maval Parliamentary results. Justice Gauri Godse ruled that the petition regarding Shiv Sena’s Shrirang Barne did not involve Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), enabling their use in the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections.
