India and the US finalized a multi-billion-dollar drone deal as PM Modi met President Biden during his US visit. India will acquire 31 MQ-9B drones worth nearly $3 billion to enhance military surveillance, especially along the China border. Approved last year, the deal includes armed drones. India also plans to procure additional Scorpene submarines and Rafale-M fighter jets this year.
