Passenger Car Sales In India Drop 20% In Q2 FY25

Passenger car sales in India dropped significantly in Q2 FY25, with a year-on-year decline of around 20%. According to the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), 318,805 passenger cars were sold from July to September, down from 396,498 units last year. Additionally, goods carrier sales fell by 15.8%, with 69,514 units sold compared to 82,538 last year.
