Hyderabad Police dismantled a massive pan-India cyber fraud network under “Operation Octopus 2.0,” arresting 52 accused, including 32 bank officials. The racket used over 350 mule accounts to siphon funds across 850 cases, involving nearly ₹150 crore. Authorities said insiders helped open fake accounts, enabling investment scams and digital fraud nationwide.
The Telangana government will set up 79 new dialysis centres with 416 beds to improve access to treatment across the state. Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha said the move aims to ensure services within 20–25 km, especially in rural areas.
