The Supreme Court dismissed a PIL demanding WHO limits for cancer-causing chemicals, antimony and DEHP, in packaged food and water. Chief Justice Surya Kant criticized the “urbanised phobia of the rich,” urging the petitioner to understand India’s ground realities.
