Amid rising summer travel demand, South Central Railway has introduced special train services from Cherlapalli, Kacheguda, and Secunderabad to destinations such as Tirupati, Tiruchanur, Anakapalle, and Kakinada. Officials confirmed these services will operate between today, April 10, and April 17 to ease passenger congestion during the peak travel period.
Several train services under South Central Railway will remain cancelled between May 1 and May 5 due to maintenance work between Vijayawada and Duvvada route. Services including Kakinada Port-Lingampalli (12737) will be affected from May 1 to 4, while Lingampalli-Kakinada Port (12738) will be cancelled from May 2 to 5, causing disruption for passengers.
