Omar Abdullah To Take Oath As CM Of J&K Soon

Omar Abdullah, Vice President of the National Conference, announced that he will take the oath as the new CM of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir on Oct 16. He stated that he received a letter from J&K Governor Manoj Sinha inviting him to assume the role. The NC-Congress bloc recently won the assembly polls. It is worth noting that J&K was designated as a state until 2019.
