Odisha: Probe Ordered Into Alleged Sexual Assault Of Army Officer’s Friend

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has ordered a judicial inquiry into the alleged torture of an Army officer and the sexual assault of his fiancee at a police station. The inquiry, led by Justice Chittaranjan Das, aims to report within 60 days. Five police personnel from Bharatpur police station have been suspended, and a case has been registered against them for their actions.
