The Odisha govt has announced maternity and paternity leave for employees pursuing surrogacy. Female employees can take 180 days of maternity leave, while male employees are entitled to 15 days of paternity leave. This applies to both surrogate and commissioning parents, provided they have fewer than 2 surviving children and submit necessary documentation, including medical records.
