North Korea Destroys Roads Linking It To South Korea

North Korea blew up sections of the symbolic Gyeongui and Donghae roads connecting it to South Korea, Seoul’s military reported on Tuesday. The destruction follows months of border fortifications and Kim Jong Un’s declaration of the South as North Korea’s “principal enemy.” In response, South Korean forces conducted a counter-fire operation with no reported military damage.
