The new liquor policy in Andhra Pradesh will come into effect on October 16. A total of 3,396 liquor shops received 87,116 applications, resulting in an income of Rs. 1,742 crore for the NDA government from these applications. The allocation of shops will be conducted through a lottery on Monday, with licenses issued on October 15 to those who win the lottery.
