New Chief Priests Appointed For Sabarimala Ayyappa Shrine & Malikappuram Devi Temple

Sabarimala Ayyappa temple has got S. Arun Kumar Namboothiri as its new chief priest, while Vasudevan Namboothiri will serve as chief priest of the Malikappuram Devi temple. Selected through a lottery, both will begin their 1-year terms on Nov 16, coinciding with the start of the 2024-25 Mandalam-Makaravilakku pilgrimage season. Kumar will be the 16th chief priest at Sabarimala.
