Nearly 6,000 Special Trains To Run During Festive Season: Railways Minister

With the festive season approaching, Indian Railways plans to operate nearly 6,000 special trains to accommodate over 1 crore passengers traveling for Durga Puja, Diwali, and Chhath festivals. Additionally, 108 trains will have extra general coaches, with a total of 12,500 coaches sanctioned to manage the increased demand, said Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
