Police in Madhya Pradesh’s Harda district used a night-vision drone with a thermal image camera to locate a man accused of raping a five-year-old girl. The drone, procured from Bhopal-based Madhya Pradesh Electronic Development Corporation, was used after multiple search attempts. The accused, believed to be hiding in the jungle, lured the girl to a deserted location after offering her snacks.
