A massive fire broke out in a fireworks warehouse in the Sivakasi area of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Fire dept officials reported that the incident occurred while firecrackers were being loaded onto trucks for distribution to other states ahead of Diwali. It has been reported that the cargo in three lorries was completely destroyed. A probe is underway, and full details are still emerging.
