A man who allegedly defrauded thousands of people in Maharashtra of more than ₹300 crore was arrested. He was found living in the guise of a sadhu in Vrindavan to evade his arrest. Baban Vishwanath Shinde was held near Krishna Balaram Temple in a joint operation by the Vrindavan and Beed district police. Shinde was wanted in connection with multiple FIRs of fraud totaling around ₹300 crore.
