Maharashtra’s Ruling Alliance Approaches Conclusion On Seat Sharing

Maharashtra’s ruling alliance is nearing completion of its seat-sharing negotiations, with sources indicating that the BJP will contest 158 of the 288 seats. The party has allocated 70 seats to Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena and 50 to Ajit Pawar’s Nationalist Congress Party.
