Maharashtra Govt Transfers 14 Deputy & Joint Secretaries Across Various Departments

The Maharashtra govt has transferred 14 Dy Secretaries and Joint Secretaries across various departments. This decision follows the ECI visit from September 26 to 28, during which it expressed dissatisfaction with the state’s failure to comply with directives regarding transfer of long-serving officers. The transfers come ahead of ECI’s announcement on the state assembly poll schedule.
