Authorities in Madhya Pradesh have banned firecrackers containing harmful chemicals like barium salt and arsenic ahead of Diwali, citing health risks. The district administration warned that purchasing or selling these firecrackers could lead to legal consequences. Additionally, the use of firecrackers is restricted to specific hours (8 PM to 10 PM), and doctors recommend using only “green crackers”.
