LPG Cylinder Found On Kanpur Railway Tracks In Derailment Attempt

A significant train accident was averted early Sunday when an LPG cylinder was discovered on the tracks near Perambur Railway Station in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The cylinder was spotted in time, allowing the loco pilot to brake just before a goods train approached. Railway officials said that this incident marks the fourth derailment attempt in Sep, with a total of 18 nationwide since August.
