The tendering process for liquor shops in AP is still ongoing, and excise officials will accept applications for liquor shops until October 9. The allocation of these shops will take place via a lottery system on October 11. The NDA government has approved a new liquor policy with a two-year timeframe, and a notification has been issued for the licensing of a total of 3,396 liquor shops.
