Cassius, the world’s largest captive crocodile, has passed away at over 110 years old at the Crocodile Habitat in Queensland. Known for his Guinness World Record size—5.48 meters and over a ton—Cassius had been in poor health since October. He was captured in the 1980s and spent decades with his caretaker, George Craig. Cassius’s legacy as a fierce predator and beloved attraction lives on.
