After a 20-year journey, retired farmer Sebastian P. Augustine has launched India’s first tender coconut wine, securing approval following a legal battle over coconut wine production rights with China. His winery, River Island Winery, uses fresh tender coconuts and local fruits without added water. The wine will be sold exclusively at authorized outlets, celebrating the unique flavors of Kerala.
