The auspicious Kartika Masotsavam has officially commenced today, Oct 2, in all Shaiva temples, including Srisailam. Authorities have finalized all arrangements for the festival. In Srisailam, preparations are in place for accommodation, water supply, darshan, sale of prasadam, and sanitation. Srisailam is recognized as one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Shiva and one of the 18 Shakti Peethas.
