Karnataka Uses GPS To Track Ghee For Tirupati Amid Laddoo Row

The Karnataka Milk Federation has installed GPS on vehicles supplying ghee to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) after concerns over substandard ghee in laddus. Managing director M K Jagadish confirmed the restoration of Nandini Ghee supply under a new contract for 350 tonnes. Recent lab tests revealed adulteration with lard, prompting TTD to consider blacklisting the contractor.
