At least 42 Palestinians were killed and over 150 injured in Israeli air and artillery strikes on the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, according to Palestinian medical sources. The bombardment began, targeting residential areas. Gaza govt condemned the attacks as a “deliberate targeting of civilians” and urged the international community to pressure Israel to cease its actions against civilians.
