India’s aviation industry is facing significant disruptions due to a wave of bomb threats, all of which turned out to be hoaxes. Over 130 fake calls in nine days have prompted government crisis management efforts. On October 20 alone, 24 threats were received, affecting multiple airlines and leading to emergency landings, bomb squad checks, and financial losses for airlines.
