Indian Railways Reduces Advance Ticket Booking Period To 60 Days

Indian Railways is set to reduce the advance train ticket booking period from 120 days to 60 days, starting November 1, 2024. Passengers will now only be able to book tickets up to 60 days in advance, excluding the day of train departure. This change aims to streamline the booking process. Notably, the new rule will not affect passengers who have already booked their tickets prior to the implementation date.
