Indian Railways Launches ‘Rail Rakshak Dal’ To Enhance Safety & Emergency Response

Indian Railways has established the ‘Rail Rakshak Dal’ for the first time in response to the rising number of train accidents in the country. It is being launched as a pilot project in the North Western Railway zone. Indian Railways stated that the ‘Rail Rakshak Dal’ will be equipped to reach the site quickly and carry out rescue operations in the event of an accident.
