The Indian Army plans to enhance its firepower by inducting long-range suicide drones and rockets, according to Lt General Adosh Kumar, Director General of Artillery. The Army is evaluating loitering munitions and aims to extend Pinaka rocket’s range to 300 km, up from 90 km for Mark II. Additionally, the Defence Acquisition Council has approved the acquisition of Nirbhay and Pralay missiles.
