India Responds To US Sanctions, Asserts Compliance With Trade Laws

Ministry of External Affairs responded to recent US. sanctions on 19 Indian companies and 2 individuals, asserting that Indian firms have not violated any national laws. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal emphasized India’s robust legal framework for strategic trade and nonproliferation, noting India’s membership in key multilateral export control regimes and compliance with relevant UN sanctions.
