India has overtaken China to become the largest two-wheeler market globally, driven by increased demand in rural areas, favorable monsoon conditions, and government initiatives for rural development, according to a report from Counterpoint Research. While global two-wheeler sales grew 4% year-on-year in the first half of 2024, India saw an impressive 22% growth during the same period.
