India Condemns USCIRF’s “Biased” Report, Urges For Objectivity

India urged the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) to stop its “agenda-driven efforts,” claiming it misrepresents facts about the country. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) labeled USCIRF as biased and politically motivated, rejecting its recent report. India has consistently criticized USCIRF for inaccuracies related to issues like Covid-19 and religious freedom.
