IBM Launches New AI Models As GenAI Competition Intensifies

IBM launched its latest AI models, “Granite 3.0,” targeting businesses amid the growing adoption of generative AI. These models will be open-source, unlike competitors like Microsoft, which charge for access. IBM also offers a paid tool, Watsonx, for customized model deployment. Some Granite models are available on Nvidia’s software platform and were trained using Nvidia’s H100 GPUs.
