Jagadish Prasad was arrested in Hyderabad for his alleged involvement in the online trading scam linked to DB Stock Limited, owned by Dipankar Burman, a key accused in a major multi-crore fraud that affected Assam. A senior police official stated that Prasad, operating a branch of DB Stock Limited in Hyderabad, collected at least Rs 7 crores from investors.
