Hospital Hands Over Body Without Post-Mortem; Police Exhume For Examination

Hospital authorities in Cuttack handed over a deceased person’s body to family members without conducting a post-mortem or notifying local police. The family buried the body in Tikarabaju on October 17. Following the discovery, Baliguda Police exhumed the body for a post-mortem at a sub-divisional hospital, as confirmed by inspector-in-charge Sushant Sahu.
