Hindu Groups Hold Rally In HP Calling For Waqf Board’s Abolition

Hundreds of people rallied on Saturday under the Devbhoomi Sangharsh Samiti’s banner, demanding the abolition of the Waqf Board and verification of migrant identification documents in Himachal Pradesh’s Hamirpur. The organization called for a statewide protest on these issues. Police were heavily deployed to maintain order, while shops owned by a minority community remained closed.
