Gujarat Policeman Dies While Chasing Liquor Smuggling SUV

A 50-year-old policeman, Sub-Inspector J M Pathan, was killed while attempting to intercept an SUV smuggling liquor in Gujarat’s Surendranagar district. Pathan was struck by a trailer after being blinded by headlights of another SUV. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to head injuries. The police have launched an investigation, and the state home minister paid tribute to his bravery.
