The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has extended the income tax return filing deadline for corporates for the Assessment Year 2024-25 to November 15, 2024, pushing it back from the original October 31 deadline. This extension applies to taxpayers under sub-Section (1) of Section 139 of the Income-tax Act, following a previous extension for tax audit report submissions.
