A fuel tanker explosion in northern Nigeria has resulted in at least 94 deaths and 50 injuries, police reported on Wednesday. The incident occurred in Jigawa state when the tanker crashed while avoiding a truck. Many victims were trying to collect spilled fuel, overwhelming officers attempting to prevent them.
