Four Sanitation Workers Killed By Train In Palakkad Accident

A tragic incident in Palakkad claimed the lives of four sanitation workers, including two women, when the Kerala Express struck them near Shornur Bridge. All the four belonged to Tamil Nadu, they were clearing garbage from the tracks.  investigations suggest they were unaware of the oncoming train. Efforts to recover the fourth body continue near the Bharathapuzha River.
