Floodwater continues to flow into the Prakasam Barrage, which was built across the Krishna River in the Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. In response, officials are lifting 70 gates to release water downstream. The current inflow is recorded at 85,000 cusecs, while the outflow is 84,297 cusecs. The water level at the barrage currently stands at 12 feet, with 3.07 TMC of water stored.
